Match Report
Culford School 1st VII vs  Framlingham College
On: Saturday, 02 Feb 2019
Venue: Away

Culford started off the game well and were able to drive the ball through into their shooters with success. Yaa Zuta was on top form today with her shooting and the centre court players were patient in their feeds into the circle. Unfortunately, in defence, Culford could not control their contact on their opposition, which gave Framlingham multiple opportunities at free passes and penalty passes to feed their shooters. The first quarter finish 9-13 so it was still anybody's game.

As the game progressed Framlingham stepped up their game and set up an intimidating zone on the court which Culford struggled to break down and they were unable to find the gaps of space. Framlingham took advantage of these turnovers and moved the ball through the court with speed, accuracy and power.

The second half of the game was a better performance from Culford and the restructure of the team moving Katie Shea into GD meant that we delayed Framlingham's pass into the circle with more success and also got their hands to more turnovers. Unfortunately for Culford, Framlingham had created too big a lead to chase and the final score was 22-54 to Framlingham.
