A strong performance from the high school secured a third consecutive win against local rivals the Bishops Stortford College.

From the kick off the college managed to retain the ball and put pressure on the high school line, however, good defence won a penalty giving us a chance to clear our line. After many phases of play Will Maundrel scored a converted try. Conversion by Owen Thomas. More pressure from the high school saw a well worked backs move result in Simon Wasley going over in the corner after beating two on coming defenders. Thomas unable to convert. Pressure from the College saw George Cullen kick a penalty for his team, taking the score to 12-3.
Tough forwards play late on by the high School forwards allowed Rory Banks to drive over after throwing a dummy from the Scrum-half position. Thomas converted.
The score was 19-3 at half time.
Again from the kick off in the second half the College applied pressure on the High School line. This resulted in the College gaining a penalty because of a ruck offence. Cullen Successfully kicked the three points. Again pressure in the Colleges half lead to points for the high school, Thomas kicked three points. A great catch from the kick of saw Steven Penson make a good break. A quick play of the ball saw Adam Eagle break down the left wing only resulting in a loose pass going to floor at the fruntration of the high school. The College scrum was then turned over and we saw Fraser Murphy go over in the corner untouched. Ronan Laycock made a break from 10 and went in under the posts. Conversion by Thomas.
