The senior first team faced tough competition today against Dauntsey's away. The game started strong and Dauncey's having a large home crown to support them. The game was played at high speed and it was a closely contested first quarter. Dauncey's managed to score 4 goals in a row right at the end of the first quarter leaving the score line 13-4 to Dauncey's.

Sherborne girls did not get dispondent and came back out in the second quarter with determination and assertiveness and managed to keep the score to within 6. Sherborne girls really began to get into their stride in the third quarter and some excellent defending pressure forced some errors from the opposition, allowing Sherborne to capitalise on their mistakes.

In the last quarter Sherborne girls were positive and worked together as a team, really encouraging and supporting each other vocally on court. In the final quarter both teams scored 6 goals each and this was a result of Sherborne girls' commitment and persistence. Sherborne took control of the game and were exceptional throughout the last quarter. A fantastic game girls against a very strong side, very well done.

Many thanks to the supporters who were fantastic on the bench, the support made all the difference and really cheered the girls on.
