Match Report
Berkhamsted School 1st XV vs  Queen Elizabeth's School, Barnet
On: Saturday, 01 Dec 2012
Venue: Away

With some extra hard work from our ground-staff we were able to transfer the senior games to our home pitches. We eventually ran out worthy winners on a cold and unforgiving afternoon at Chesham Road. In the first half we were guilty of trying to play too wide, too early on before setting up the proper platform through the forwards. The Q.E. boys fought hard, disrupted breakdown ball and made it difficult for us. After a half time team talk, where we re-set the game plan, Berkhamsted showed some of what they are capable of. The forwards turned on the power; the backs penetrated from deep and some impressive interplay then created the gaps from which we scored. Impressive games from Harry Sambrook and Ed Hart up front and good games for Bragg, Jones, Sanusi and Rider in the backs helped us over the 50 point mark.

One to go and one to relish as we take on St Paul's away from home next weekend. Here's hoping for a thrilling end to an exceptional season.
