Match Report
Berkhamsted School 3rd XV vs  St Paul's School Boys-U18D
On: Saturday, 21 Nov 2015
Venue: at Home

On an extremely cold and windy day on Chesham road, the 3rd XV took on the might of St Paul’s 4th XV. As is traditional in this fixture, both sides were evenly matched and fully committed to the task. The first half saw Berkhamsted play with the wind and as a result completely dominate procession and territory. However, the home failed to take advantage and missed two very kickable penalties to take a deserved lead. The second period saw St Paul’s kick well with the wind and constantly mad e it difficult for Berkhamsted to get out of their own half. Berkhamsted showed good organisation and work rate to keep in the contest, but in the end, the pressure told and a couple of defensive errors lead to St Paul’s winning 12-0.

Berkhamsted deserved more from the game but probably did not sure quite enough composure in the final 3rd to take advantage of the opportunities they created.

Rugby is next up and should be another hard fought contest.
