Match Report
Reading Blue Coat School Boys-U12B vs  Magdalen College School
On: Saturday, 10 Dec 2016
Venue: Away

The U12Bs finished the season on a high as they beat a good Magdalen College side by 35-5.

The first half was a scrappy affair with lots of loose ball and knock ons in slippery conditions. Blue Coat began to control possession of the ball and this resulted in some good build up play and a fantastic pass wide from Ollie Stam, allowing Ollie Thompson to break free and put the boys 5-0 up. Magdalen managed to draw level just before the break to set up an exciting second half.

Blue Coat came out firing in the second half and with superb support play and much better handling were able to blow Magdalen away scoring 6 unanswered tries to secure victory. Josh Griggs produced some powerful running to get on the score sheet twice, Xander Brown produced some fast footwork to dance his way over, Sam Hitchin ran a lovely darting line to break through the defence and Sam Culver finished off a great team try,

Overall it was a fantastic team performance in the second half and really showed how far these boys have developed and come as a team this season. Well done to all involved this season, a great way to finish.
