RBCS U15A 31-12 CLF

Try Scorers- Mickey Adetunji (2), Josh Smart, Will Perkin, Charlie Bindley-Ross

Cons- Nick Evans 3

Men of Match- Mickey Adetunji and Will Perkin

In a stop start game, RBCS eventually prevailed against City of London. The game started well with Mickey and Josh scoring in quick succession. However the game was halted due to serious clash of heads and the skipper Josh Smart had to leave the field of play as a precaution. We struggled to regain momentum often being short of numbers in the defensive line and not being able to control the breakdown. Charlie Bindley-Ross did score before the break to give us a comfortable lead.

CLF started the second half well and scored again just after the break. The boys did dig in and defend much more effectively although we lacked discipline at times and gave away numerous penalties. Mickey scored again to seal the win after a mazy run and can hold his head high after a superb individual performance. Will Perkin was titanic in defence and attack and finished off the game with a trundling try. Lots to work on before our first cup game at St Barts on Wednesday.

N.B- I was made aware of the fact that I had made a mistake with the previous match report. Josh Maier scored a try against Halliford and it had been credited to Josh Smart. My apologies to Josh M.
