Match Report
Kingswood School Boys-U18A vs  Dean Close School
On: Saturday, 29 Nov 2014
Venue: at Home

The most complete performance I have seen from a first team in my thirteen seasons at Kingswood. Dean Close could not live with the power, pace and aggression of the whole team. Yet again the pack set the platform early on with excellent scrummaging and a dominant lineout. Olly Beere and George Logut stealing several of the opposition throw in’s. The back row totally dominated the breakdown and their support running and work rate was nothing short of outstanding. The front five handled with subtlety and accuracy. Miles, Felix and Harvey once again proving they are as skilful as they are powerful and determined. Sam and Howell controlled the game from half back putting the team in the right places and taking the right options. Dom and Owen once again carved up the midfield in defence and attack, proving far too much for their opponents. The back three of Parimal, Ollie, Jamie ( and Lucas) carried strongly and worked very well off the ball. The levels of intensity the team managed to work at throughout the game was very impressive, as was the self-control and discipline. They never got carried away, they just stuck at the task and worked hard for each other. The levels of communication and leadership from the team where of the highest order. It is easy to get carried away with superlatives when describing a good win but this was truly an amazing performance. Easily a team of the week performance!
