Match Report
King's College, Taunton 1st XV vs  Blundell's School
On: Saturday, 26 Sep 2015
Venue: Away

This was a tough afternoon for the 1st XV. The game started well and early exchanges were closely contested. Both sides controlled the ball well and created opportunities but fierce defence held firm.

The turning point was a serious injury which unsettled the King's side. As King's hastily reorganised Blundell's took advantage as their athletic and powerful back division cut through and they scored in the wide channels.

King's were up against it and further injuries disrupted the flow. However, all players put in a highly committed performance that never lacked in determination or pride. Charlie Agbo and George Williams were abrasive in the contact area, Andrew Lake battled hard in the centres whilst Will Knill, Harry Magill and Jack West always made yards with the ball in hand. Brad Lynch continued his try scoring run as a well worked move and exceptional pass from Jack West put him into the corner.

The King's players should be highly commended for never giving up and remaining tenacious until the final whistle. It was a difficult game to play in but their attitude was outstanding.
