Match Report
King's College, Taunton Boys-U16A vs  ISCA Academy
On: Wednesday, 27 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

On a wet, windy and cold day Kings U16s faced ISCA Academy in Exeter.

The game started with Kings dominating and creating a few chances in the first half without success. The second half continued in the same vein until a lofted forward pass held up in the wind for Louis Stanbury to control and deliver to James Candfield who gave King’s the lead from close range. ISCA replied with an equaliser minutes later when what looked like a hand ball went unseen. King’s won the midfield contest and provided through ball for Candfield to score his second of the match. With less than 10 minutes remaining ISCA were awarded a penalty to tie the game at 2-2. Extra time was goal less and so to penalties. Both teams converted their 5 before Tom hall pulled off a fantastic fingertip save leaving Joe Rutherford to score his penalty to win the game 6-5.
