Match Report
The King's School, Canterbury Boys-U18A vs  Wakasa Higashi HS
On: Saturday, 05 Aug 2017
Venue: Away

It was a long intense game against Wakasa Higashi High School. The Japanese style of rugby definitely took us by surprise, they were a very well drilled team that executed their set plays brilliantly. With some strong runs from Francesco Serraino and Trevor Tam the team made some solid ground down but even so After the first half kings were down 2 tries, one from a rolling maul and the other was a good break through the backs.
In the second half King's found their footing and started playing better rugby. A break from Charlie Watson and some great footwork eventually put Richard Haywood under the posts for King's first try. Soon after a quick line out and a well executed backs move lead to Soti George gassing it down the wing for a second try. A great effort from the King's boys but an unfortunate result.
