Modern Pentathlon: Joshua Miller claims individual U14 National tetrathlon title

Joshua Miller demonstrated top form across all four tetrathlon disciplines at this weekend's championships to take the British U14 title. He had a faultless performance across the board but he stole the show with an incredible fencing performance winning 24 bouts from 28. Fellow Whitgift pupils Taino Goveia, Charlie Goriup and Nathan Bambroffe finished 7th, 8th and 11th respectively with still a year to go in the age group. They all show great promise for a future in pentathlon with strong performances in each discipline particularly in the fencing.

In U12's, Adam Bambroffe claimed the individual bronze in his first ever full tetrathlon. His Whitgift team mates Isaac Miller, Ben Oliver and George Baritsch finished 5th, 7th and 10th respectively. There were solid performances in each of the tetrathlon events with Adam and Ben dominating the run with an impressive time of 3.25 for the 1000m. Isaac matched his brother's performance in the fencing winning it with 18 victories and 5 defeats. Whilst Adam and George were among the top ranks for shooting.
