Under 13 A vs Kent College

W 43-5 The Under 13A team put on a strong performance on a very warm October morning and there was a clear improvement in the team's commitment to the tackle as well as to supporting the man with the ball. The backs showed good pace and when they spread the ball wide there was success. The pack demonstrated better mobility around the pitch, but there is still plenty of work to do at the rucks where too many spectators hang around the edges. The team should be pleased with a more consistent match and pleasing progress om key skills.

Under 13 A vs Bickley Park

L 31-36 Yet another match under the burning October sun and this time the team struggled to establish the consistency needed to eliminate missed tackles and indiscipline at the breakdown. After a steady start they allowed errors to creep in and Bickley Park scored too many tries before the team woke up and really started to take the game to the opposition. From 6 tries to 2 down we battled back to 6 tries to 5, but time ran out before a stunning comeback could be completed!! The first time tackle is the key and the team are keen to keep improving.
