Hunt - Junior Inter House Football Champions 2015

Junior Inter House Football 2015

This year’s Junior Inter House Football was as bright and sunny as the glorious weather, with two teams going into the final round with a chance to become champions!

All the Houses can be proud of their efforts having put on an impressive display of not only their footballing talent, but also in their ability to work as a team. The round-robin format of five rounds was a real test of their fitness – especially in the hot conditions!

Every player showed great endeavour, as they battled it out to the end and they can be proud of their efforts and behaviour during the competition. Drake lacked the finishing touch in front of goal, but tried their socks off, yet had to settle for sixth place. Raleigh fought hard throughout and took fifth spot. Scott ended up fourth with 14 points just behind Bader with 15 points, who ended up third on goal-difference, pipped by a solitary goal for Grenfell to claim the runners-up slot. This left Hunt firmly on top with 25 points having won all five of their matches and netting 16 goals during the afternoon – well done!
