Match Report
King's College, Taunton U14B XV vs  Downside School
On: Saturday, 14 Oct 2017
Venue: at Home

King's started strongly against Downside with some hard running and better structure than has previously been seen however they undid themselves by committing a string of unforced handling errors and as such could not capitalise on their dominance. As the pressure build Ali Hilton was set free down the short side and scored a great try in the corner and this was soon followed up by a second try from a pre-planned line-out move with Charlie Brooke-Webb crossing over. Cameron Collins crossed for a third just before half time. In the second half King's committed far fewer handling errors and with the bench brought on to freshen things up the pressure mounted on Downside. Fred Fisher and Max Cooper-Simpson both crossed in the second half, most pleasing however was the strength of defence which kept Downside at bay throughout. Jack Ker was voted man of the match by his teammates.
