King's College, Taunton Girls- 2's vs  Millfield School
On: Saturday, 30 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

Lost 1-3

Goalscorer: Lottie Cannons

Player of the match: Ellie Cooper who's work rate and hassling attributes in the midfield caused Millfield problems.

In a physically tough and competitive fixture in which both teams refused to give an inch gave the game a real edge but without stepping over the line. King's defended with a real determination through the team with Millie Spurr, Ellie Cooper, Ellie Carrow and Grace Perking hassling throughout the midfield. Charlotte Philip tackled bravely down the left and picked some amazing balls off the Millfield sticks. Our forward momentum came from Anna Barzotelli down the right or Ellie Cooper in the midfield whose trickery and speed created a number of circle entries and shots for our forwards. Lottie Cannons finished a lovely cross by Grace Perking to earn the King's goal in the first half which finished 1-2 and the second half was really even with Tilly Maybery denying Millfield more goals but at the other end - Lottie Cannons, Jemima Dufosee, Ellie Carrow and were unfortunate not to find another goal before Millfield sealed the win with another goal to finish 1-3.
