King's College, Taunton 2nd XV vs  Taunton School
On: Saturday, 09 Sep 2017
Venue: at Home

Well after a long wait the Dogs of War have regained their Roar! Lead by none other than Scrappy Doo himself, Matt Bullman, who was outstanding in leading the team.

King’s started nervously from the kick off allowing Taunton within 5 meters of the try line but superb defence from the forwards and a well-timed right boot of Charlie Lavender saw play move into the Taunton half. The King’s back line being coordinated by Zac Stickland soon showed that we can attack from all angles and with deft hands Hughie Kelsey ran in the first of 3 tries.

With three 15 minute sections of play allowing for every member of the squad to shine, the intensity began to highlight gaps in the Taunton defence; allowing Dylan Ker to score a well worked try down the blind side. However, the try of the day was scored by Alex Carter who picked up from a scrum and powered his way past 4 Taunton players.
