Match Report
King's College, Taunton Girls- 3's vs  Dean Close School
On: Saturday, 16 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

This weekend saw the 3rds travel and eventually reach Dean Close after the abnormally slow M5 trip, thankfully avoiding the issues that occurred after. The girls worked extremely hard and produced some fabulous passages of play, threatening their goal and making their keeper complete numerous saves, but unable to finish with a goal.
Dean Close played some strong hockey and King's stout defending and work horse efforts, including Hope Webster and Emma Hawkins kept the game close. During the second half the girls continued to put pressure on the ball and increased possession, finally secured a great goal from Tilly. It was pleasing to see an improvement from week to week and the hard work and effort throughout, never getting down or frustrated. This was especially evident with our keeper Tilly Mayberry, player of the match, who dominated the D, diving and saving many goals. Next game Wednesday!
