Match Report
King's College, Taunton Girls- 4's vs  Canford School
On: Saturday, 23 Sep 2017
Venue: Away

Lost 0-8

Player of the match: Christa Arliss for her constant running and attempts to release pressure and provide attacking opportunities.

King's came up against a good Canford side and despite trying hard to defend the Canford counter attacks, they were unable to hold them off. Canford dominated the first half with Tilly Maybery being called into action on numerous occasions. Cassidy Chau, Issie Burger worked exceptionally hard in defence with last minute tackles. But with King's failing to maintain any possession meant that Canford were coming forward in waves and finished the first half 0-5. The second half King's came out fighting and improved their marking and passing which meant that Canford were kept at bay as well as King's having more possession to put pressure on the Canford defence. Christa Arliss was the catalyst for most of this with her perfectly timed tackle, work rate and attacking vision. Canford were kept at bay until the last part of the game when tiredness kicked in and King's conceded another 3 goals.
