King’s started well with the first try coming from George Thomas 3 minutes into the game from a move at the back of the scrum. Some good inter-passing between the backs including a timely pop pass by Oliver Dummett to a surging George Thomas ensured his second try, successfully converted by Charlie Sharland. The third try came from Timothy Roberts who evaded a number of tackle to score under the posts; his first try for the A’s. The last try before half time came from Mickey Spiers who provided excellent support work to a powerful run by George Thomas who got tackled short of the line for Mickey to seize the opportunity for his first try for the A’s. Successfully converted on the line by Charlie Sharland.

The second half started as the first finished off with good forwards work by Toby Pattemore, Will Serrell-Cooke and Tom Small , replacement forwards provided excellent work rate to ensure clean ball for the backs. Oliver Baines was excellent throughout the match with an incredible surging run from his own half. This set up Ryan Cubbin with the forward momentum to score a very determined try in the corner. George Thomas managed to get his hat trick of tries with some great passing and ball handling skills to round off another impressive game for the centre. Aubrey Lindsay-Smith rounded off the try count for the day with a strong run to score in the corner, successfully converted by Charlie Sharland. Final score 43- 7
