Match Report
King's College, Taunton Girls-U14B vs  Dean Close School
On: Saturday, 16 Sep 2017
Venue: at Home

A strong start from Dean Close made King's U14B side hold firm in defence and then start to use their skills in passing to attack back. Possession was spread between the teams, both sides being keen to tackle and unafraid to hit the ball hard. A super pass in from Malaika Njema found Florence Cole in the D and she put the ball confidently past the goalie. Dean Close equalised before half time.

In the second half King's continued to work hard as a team, with every girl getting a touch on the ball and contributing to the team effort. Olivia Boyd scored the second goal with a determined strike. Play continued end to end and after a few unsuccessful attempts from both teams to get the ball into the net, with shots wide of target, Anastasia Woodard scored the third goal for King's. For her excellent passes in from the wing, Malaika Njema was awarded player of the match.

The girls worked hard together and enjoyed the experience. Our thanks to King's Hall for welcoming us at their pitch and to our supporters who were treated to a great match.
