Kent College have an enviable record in hockey. Their teams have regularly competed in National finals and a number of former pupils have gone on to achieve representative honours. Currently we have a number of players that represent England: Rebecca Weston is in the England Under 18 girls' squad and Jack Balsdon is in the England Under 18 boys' squad. At a younger level Harry Roberts has achieved selection in to the under 16 boys' squad. In addition we have a number of players that represented the Saxon Tigers in the recent futures cup sides:
Sarah Hyams, Catherine Parker and Chloe Moxam.

In terms of our teams our under 18 boys' squad finished third in the South Finals last season narrowly missing out to eventual national champions Cranleigh School. Our under 13 squad also finished fourth in the South finals.

With regard to our girls' teams, we are the current Under 13 national champions and are the current Under 13 and Under 16 county Champions. Both under 13s and under 14s are still involved in the latter stages of national competitions.

We pride ourselves in providing top coaching with Kwan Browne( Canterbury men's coach) and Nick Clark(Canterbury women's coach) supporting the Head of girls' games Mrs. Claire Balsdon.

Kent College (KC) are re-developing the rugby at the school.
There has been a resurgence in popularity of rugby at KC and the school are working hard to develop a firm link with Canterbury Rugby Football Club (CRFC). The Mini section of CRFC train at the school on Tuesday evening.

KC Teams play in tough local circuit and aim to play the game in an entertaining fashion with an emphasis on developing a sound understanding and personal enjoyment as well as maintaining a sound skill set and competitive spirit.

As with Hockey, KC pride itself in the quality of its coaching and the current team have a great pedigree including;
John Burnage, an England Schools U16 Selector
Matthew Robinson, CRFC Assistant Backs Coach and Welsh Exiles U18 Coach.

Each year KC take a Pre Season Tour in preparation for the forthcoming season and aim to take a junior side away at some stage through the year.
